Want to get on stage?

Do you enjoy singing, acting and dancing? If so we'd love to hear from you no matter what your age. We are a friendly semi-professional company who put on up to five shows a year, including the Chequer Mead Theatre Pantomime! We don't have a members system as we run open auditions for each and every show we put on. Want to help out behind the scenes?

Company of Friends' shows are supported by a huge behind the scenes team, all of which are regular volunteers. We have a wide range of abilities and specialties, so everyone fits in! If you think you would enjoy helping out in any aspect of the backstage area then please contact the relevant person below! Roles available are:
Hair and Makeup, Wardrobe, Stage Crew, Lighting roles, Follow spotters, Chaperones*, Dressers, Tea-Makers, Set Painters/Designers and a whole lot more.
